Jonathan Buck, GE, QSD

Jon specializes in creek stabilization and restoration; stormwater and erosion control management, geotechnical feasibility of earth dams and engineered slopes, deep foundation systems for bridge structures, hydrologic analysis of watersheds and wetlands, and complex permitting and regulatory issues.

Jon is a recognized authority on Low Impact Development Stormwater Quality Design and Post-Construction BMP implementation.  He also develops and implements Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans for large large-scale development and infrastructure projects.   He is involved in geotechnical and biotechnical bank stabilization efforts in both natural and flood control channels, and has implemented several large large-scale creek restoration efforts.

“Most of the water resources projects we tackle are not only technically challenging from an engineering perspective, but also complex from a regulatory perspective.  There is always enjoyment when the projects are ultimately completed, and I enjoy teaching others about valuable lessons learned.”

Jon is an avid skier and snowboarder.  In the summer, he enjoys travelling through Western Europe, including places that offer leisurely biking and great food.
